Notifications

The notifications system surfaces operational events to brand members so they don’t have to monitor every workspace surface manually.

Channels

Event Categories

  • Member events: invitations accepted, role changes, ownership transfers
  • Billing events: subscription changes, invoice issued, payment failed, credit top-up confirmed
  • Mint events: large batch completion, mint failures requiring attention
  • Passport governance: controlled update applied, break-glass amendment, revocation
  • Hostname events: custom hostname verification status changes
  • Platform messages: incident notices, maintenance windows

Per-Member Preferences

Each member controls their own notification preferences from Settings → Profile. Workspace owners can set workspace-wide defaults but cannot override an individual member’s explicit choice.
